Temple Baptist School and Day Care opened its doors in 1953 as a full-time Christian preschool. Our goal is to benefit the children, parents and community in any way possible. A child's early years are a time of growth and development. Through natural curiosity and encouragement each child will gain the skills that are so vital to their future education. Here at Temple, our mission is to provide a Christian environment where each child is treated as a special creation of God with the opportunity to grow spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially and intellectually.

We offer full time care and early education to children ages 6 weeks - 5 years. Children can be dropped off and picked up between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We do not currently offer part-time care or a school age program.

Here at Temple we use the highest voluntary enhanced requirements. This means lower ratios in your child's classroom!

Creative Curriculum
We have chosen to use the Creative Curriculum based on its developmentally appropriate approach to learning.
As the field of early childhood education has evolved, The Creative Curriculum continues to incorporate the latest research and best practices into its program, taking the needs of every type of learner into account.

Children will bring a lunchbox packed with breakfast, lunch and snack. We are a nut free facility, so this means no peanut butter. We do suggest SunButter as a tasty alternative. Check out Pinterest for awesome ideas on packing lunches!

To prevent the spread of illness we have a strict sick policy in place. If a child vomits, has two loose bowel movements or has a fever of 100 degrees or higher, they must be sent home and stay out the next day.

We are a medicine free facility with the exception of Epi-Pens, insulin, nebulizers, inhalers and diaper creme. What this means is that we will not administer fever reducing medicines, steroid cremes, antibiotics, sun block or bug spray.

Here at Temple we use a technique called redirection. With this technique we try to focus the child's energy into something positive. Redirection stops the inappropriate activity immediately and sets the groundwork for learning appropriate behaviors.

Our doors are locked and require access via an app that you download on your cell phone. It is monitored by admin and the Church security team.
